Chastity = No Sex?

"All the baptized are called to chastity...either man governs his passions and finds peace, or he lets himself be dominated by them and becomes unhappy."
Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2348, 2339

I realize my name is the source of some confusion, as I have clearly stated I am married.

Chastity is not always the same as abstinence.

Chastity is living in harmony with your state of life; that is, bringing your sexual life in line with the rest of your life. If you are single, that does mean being abstinent. If you are married, that means having a loving, respectful sex life. Married persons and single persons can both be chaste, though their behavior is quite different.

This is why chastity is a virtue (a really good habit that makes you happy). It would not be a really good habit that makes you happy if you were married and having no sex ever. That would be very sad and quite uncomfortable.

Keep it clean, modest if possible, and certainly charitable.
